I am entirely convinced that whoever invented bureaucracy should not have invented it. Paperwork will not solve the world's social issues. In fact, it will only compound them! (At least that's my not so humble opinion on the matter.)
I don't mind staying in the States a few weeks longer while I wait for my visa, though. I was a little disappointed to find out that I couldn't leave next Monday as originally planned, but I'm happy to have some extra time to spend with people here. And, as my aunt pointed out, I should still be around when the new Indiana Jones movie hits theaters. I have a feeling that this movie is best when seen in English, not dubbed in Korean! :)
Actually, I'm very thankful to finally have a definite idea of what my time frame for the next month will look like. Living in scheduling limbo was starting to grate on my nerves a bit. No one ever quite knows what will happen when the government and paperwork get involved. Regardless, though, I have determined that I would be quite happy to never have to fill out another information form again! Ugh...
